About me
Well, this is about me: My name is Simon Wallner and I am a CS student at the Vienna University of Technology. I am in the Visual Computing master's programme and interested in games, music, photography and artsy stuff. I also work as a teaching assistant for introductory and advanced computer graphics courses and in the past worked as a teaching assistant for the theoretical CS and logic course. I also co-teached introductory and advanced LaTeX workshops for the WIT (Women in Technology) project at the university.
I have recently spent a year at the University of Copenhagen as an exchange student, and I am now back in Venna to finish my masters's degree.
I am a coorganiser of the Austria Game Jam, I have been on the organiser team of the Nordic Game Jam 2012, and I am also a part of the recently rebooted IGDA Vienna Chapter. A current project I am working on is the Archive for Austrian Video Game Development that aims to preserve data about the local development scene.
In the past I participated in a few game jams and thus created a few game prototypes. My personal favourites Decepticolor and Fat Boy Feast can be found on the website of broken rules here and there (slightly offensive, so be warned).
